Technical Lead - Node.js

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Technical Lead - Node.js on a contract basis, the candidate will manage the development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality code and innovative solutions while traveling to Chicago or Atlanta once a quarter.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire development process, from coding to deployment, ensuring client needs are met
• Design and implement loosely coupled, service-oriented systems while coaching teams on technical aspects
• Anticipate future client needs based on market understanding and maintain a technical roadmap for projects

Required qualifications

• 6-8 years of total work experience, with at least 4 years in application development using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Node.js
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development processes
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Exposure to GraphQL and Kafka is a plus
