Technical Lead Python Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Lead, Python Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and technical recommendations
• Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using Python and the Pyramid framework on AWS
• Architect and manage PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and performance optimizations for clinical-grade data

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or tech lead role
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Strong skills in architecting PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization
• Proficient in utilizing AWS services such as Kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, and API Gateway
• Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews to enforce engineering standards
