Technical Leader - Embedded Software

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Technical Leader - Embedded Software will develop and maintain embedded firmware and software for control systems in nuclear power plants while ensuring project execution excellence and compliance with safety standards, with the option for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead work planning, scheduling, and resource management across project lifecycle phases
• Drive compliance with design processes and ensure deliverables meet specifications, budget, and schedule
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to ensure compliance with system design requirements from development to commissioning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in application, field installation, and test engineering of systems
• At least 5 years of experience in system design or technical reviews, including requirements management
• Experience in embedded software development with proficiency in C Programming and related tools
• Ability to relocate to Wilmington, NC, with consideration for hybrid or remote arrangements for highly qualified candidates
