Technical Marketing Manager

Job Summary

To run day-to-day marketing for AppSec, AI/ML Security, and Research & Engineering practices, the full-time Technical Marketing Manager will work remotely, collaborating with engineering directors and the go-to-market team to transform security research into engaging content, manage social media, coordinate events, and drive demand generation.

Key responsibilities

• Track and create coverage for engineering outputs, research papers, and tool releases through various content formats
• Manage social media presence and coordinate Trail of Bits' participation in industry events, ensuring effective promotion and follow-up
• Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns that enhance pipeline and sales support

Required qualifications

• Marketing experience in AppSec, AI/ML Security, or Research & Engineering
• Active public presence in security communities on platforms like X, LinkedIn, or Bluesky
• Experience in technical writing for security-focused audiences
• Proven track record in running demand generation campaigns that yield measurable outcomes
• Technical fluency with tools like GitHub and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
