Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a full-time capacity, the Technical Operations Manager will oversee 24/7 platform monitoring, manage incident resolution processes, and drive automation initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Operations Engineers across multiple time zones
• Oversee platform monitoring and incident management, ensuring timely triage and escalation
• Coordinate launch readiness for high-visibility events and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical or platform operations within a streaming or media environment
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams, including distributed or contractor-based teams
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog or PagerDuty
• Strong understanding of CDN architecture and capacity planning in a video streaming context
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
