Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time position will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD maturity
- Lead security and compliance initiatives for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, including incident response and risk assessments
- Build and lead a small team while partnering with cross-functional leaders to support shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is a plus
- Proven ability to maintain composure under pressure and communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
