Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Apply AI/agentic tooling to enhance DevOps and infrastructure operations, including automated remediation and incident response
- Own the security posture of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading compliance programs and risk assessments
- Build and lead a small team while partnering with engineering on shared infrastructure needs and setting operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with 2+ years managing people
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance
- Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
