Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native Medicare platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI-driven tools.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead information security initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards, and manage incident response and risk assessments
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering closely with engineering and product teams to support shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
- Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
