Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead security and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, while managing corporate IT operations and vendor management
• Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with engineering and other departments to align on shared infrastructure needs and operational KPIs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly healthcare, fintech, or insurance
• Excellent judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
