Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee the integration of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, while partnering with engineering on secure practices
- Build and oversee a small team, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to set operational KPIs and represent technical operations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks and having undergone audits
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is a strong plus
