Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI-enabled tools.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD maturity
- Lead security and compliance efforts for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, including incident response and vendor security reviews
- Build and lead a small team, partnering with engineering and product teams to align on infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
