Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a Medicare distribution platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI-driven tools in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead security posture management for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, including compliance programs and risk assessments
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with 2+ years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare or fintech is a strong plus
- Excellent judgment under pressure, with the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
