Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage AI-enabled operations, applying tooling for DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec tasks
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while managing corporate IT operations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with 2+ years in management
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having participated in audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
- Excellent judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
