Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing Medicare distribution platform, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure operations to ensure a reliable, compliant, and secure AWS-native environment while leveraging AI to optimize processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead information security initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards, and manage security training and policies across the organization
• Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs and representing technical operations to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years of experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, including participation in audits
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments, such as healthcare or fintech, is preferred
