Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a Medicare distribution platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability and scalability of AWS-native infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead security posture and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, while managing incident response and risk assessments
• Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with 2+ years managing teams or cross-functional initiatives
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless architectures
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
