Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a modern Medicare distribution platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security as the organization scales remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Apply AI-driven tooling to enhance DevOps, infrastructure, and information security operations
- Manage AWS-native infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency while driving CI/CD maturity
- Oversee the security posture and compliance of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading initiatives for SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
- Excellent judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
