Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager will own the technical operations domain, focusing on IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native platform while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AI-enabled operations, applying tooling for automated remediation, incident response, and compliance in a regulated environment
• Oversee the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead information security initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards while managing corporate IT operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years of people management experience
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and HIPAA
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is preferred
• Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
