Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
To support the growth of a modern Medicare distribution platform, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native system while leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead information security initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards while managing security posture and incident response
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with cross-functional leaders to align on shared infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with at least 2 years managing teams
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless architectures
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, including participation in audits
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
