Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native platform, while applying AI-enabled tools to enhance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD maturity
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, and maintain the security posture of the platform
- Build and lead a technical operations team, partnering with engineering and product teams to meet shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in management
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks and having undergone audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
- Strong judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
