Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing Medicare technology platform, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure, ensuring the AWS-native platform remains reliable, compliant, and secure while leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and incident response processes
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while maintaining the security posture of the platform
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with cross-functional leaders to align on infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks and successful audit participation
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
