Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing Medicare technology platform, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native environment while leveraging AI to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, focusing on CI/CD practices and incident response
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while ensuring robust risk management and audit readiness
- Build and guide a high-leverage team, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless architecture
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks and conducting audits
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
