Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI-driven tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead security and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, while managing corporate IT operations
• Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to meet shared infrastructure needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years managing teams
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having participated in audits
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is a strong plus
• Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
