Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager will oversee the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform, applying AI-driven operations and managing DevOps, infrastructure, and information security in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and incident response processes
- Implement AI tools for DevOps and InfoSec, ensuring safe adoption in a regulated environment and maintaining compliance with security frameworks
- Build and lead a small team, collaborating with engineering and cross-functional partners to enhance operational efficiency and represent technical operations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, IAM, networking, and serverless architectures
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, including participation in audits
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a plus
