Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability
- Oversee security compliance and risk assessments for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance programs
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering closely with engineering and representing technical operations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with at least 2 years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, serverless, and container services
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
