Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI-enabled operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Own the security posture of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading compliance programs and risk assessments
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with cross-functional leaders to align on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with 2+ years managing people or initiatives
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Experience in regulated environments, particularly healthcare, fintech, or insurance
- Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
