Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee the integration of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure a reliable, compliant, and secure AWS-native platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage AI-enabled operations, applying agentic tooling to enhance DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec processes
- Own the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead security compliance for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, ensuring policies, controls, and risk assessments are in place
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
