Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a Medicare platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead security posture and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, ensuring policies and risk assessments are in place
• Build and lead a high-leverage team while partnering with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with 2+ years in a management capacity
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, including audit participation
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or insurance sectors
