Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native Medicare platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI-enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
• Lead information security initiatives, including compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA, and oversee security posture and incident response
• Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with engineering and other departments to support shared infrastructure needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with at least 2 years of people management experience
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly in healthcare, fintech, or insurance sectors
