Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to enhance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and observability
- Lead security compliance programs and manage the security posture of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform
- Build and lead a small team, partnering with engineering and product teams to meet shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
- Excellent judgment and communication skills to translate technical risks for non-technical stakeholders
