Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Apply AI and agentic tooling to enhance DevOps, infrastructure, and information security operations
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while managing corporate IT operations and vendor relationships
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is highly desirable
- Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
