Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a Medicare distribution platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure and drive CI/CD maturity
- Oversee security posture and compliance for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance programs
- Build and lead a small team, partnering closely with engineering and representing technical operations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years of management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance
- Ability to communicate technical risks in business terms to non-technical stakeholders
