Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, driving reliability and compliance while leveraging AI-enabled tools in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage AWS-native infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency while driving CI/CD maturity and observability
- Own the security posture of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, leading compliance programs and incident response efforts
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, partnering with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs and representing technical operations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA, with a history of participating in audits
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
