Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native platform, while applying AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead security posture and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and SOC 2 standards while partnering with engineering on secure practices
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to represent technical operations and report on operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership role, with 2+ years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a plus
