Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time position will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native healthcare platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to enhance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD maturity
- Lead security posture and compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and HIPAA programs, ensuring audit readiness
- Build and lead a small team, partnering with engineering and other departments to align on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership, with 2+ years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having participated in audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is preferred
- Strong judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
