Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager will oversee the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform, applying AI-driven tools in a remote environment while managing IT operations and cross-functional partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while managing risk assessments and audit readiness
- Build and lead a small team, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to meet shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years managing teams
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having participated in audits
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments, such as healthcare or fintech, is preferred
