Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare technology platform, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and compliant AWS-native environment while leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD practices
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, and ensure a strong security posture across the organization
- Build and lead a high-performing team while partnering with cross-functional leaders to align on infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having been involved in audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is preferred
- Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
