Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time position will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Lead security compliance programs, incident response, and risk assessments for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare or fintech is a strong plus
