Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform while working closely with engineering leadership in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply AI and agentic tooling to enhance DevOps, infrastructure work, and information security processes
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure, implementing CI/CD practices and observability measures
- Lead security compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while managing corporate IT operations and vendor relationships
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, having participated in audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
- Proven ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders effectively
