Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive AI-enabled operations, applying agentic tooling for DevOps, InfoSec, and organizational support
- Own the reliability and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD practices and observability
- Lead security compliance initiatives, managing policies, risk assessments, and incident responses for a HIPAA-regulated platform
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with 2+ years in a management role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare or fintech is a plus
