Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Lead security compliance initiatives and manage the security posture of a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform
- Build and lead a small team, collaborating with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or security leadership, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance
- Ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders effectively
