Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing Medicare technology platform, the full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager will oversee IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native environment while leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure and drive CI/CD practices
- Lead information security initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards
- Build and lead a technical operations team, collaborating with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years of people management experience
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks, including having participated in audits
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
- Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
