Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native platform, applying AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply AI and agentic tooling to DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec for automated processes and compliance
- Own the reliability and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure while driving CI/CD maturity and incident response processes
- Lead security compliance initiatives, manage corporate IT operations, and build a high-leverage team as the function grows
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance
- Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
