Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time Technical Operations Manager will manage the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for an AWS-native platform, ensuring reliability, compliance, and security while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability and scalability of the AWS-native infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability practices
- Lead security compliance initiatives, managing policies, risk assessments, and incident response for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform
- Build and lead a high-leverage team while partnering with engineering and product teams to meet shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a plus
