Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time role will oversee the reliability, compliance, and security of an AWS-native platform while leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and manage a small team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and incident response processes
- Implement AI-driven solutions for DevOps and InfoSec, ensuring compliance and security posture in a regulated environment
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating with cross-functional partners on infrastructure needs and operational KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is a plus
- Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
