Technical Planning Analytics Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Finance Transformation Office, the contract Technical Planning Analytics Analyst will provide user support, troubleshoot system issues, and drive improvements within the IBM Planning Analytics platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for the IBM Planning Analytics finance planning tool during budgeting and forecasting cycles, including user setup and report support
- Collaborate with FP&A and technical teams to implement system improvements and enhancements in alignment with departmental goals
- Manage system upgrades and improvements, ensuring thorough testing and documentation throughout the process
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with IBM Planning Analytics development, including server installation and system configuration
- Strong understanding of finance principles and experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Hands-on experience with Python, TM1Py, HTML, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in MDX and SQL, as well as Planning Analytics REST API
- Educational background in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
