Technical PMO Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Technical PMO to lead cross-functional engineering and technology initiatives in the transit market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers, establishing best practices and fostering a culture of improvement
• Oversee the planning and execution of major engineering programs for IoT devices and cloud-connected solutions
• Drive the development and enhancement of Product Lifecycle Management processes and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, or PMO leadership
• 5+ years of experience leading program managers or cross-functional technical teams
• Strong understanding of engineering development methodologies and program execution metrics
• Direct experience with PLM systems and managing complex engineering programs
