Technical Portfolio Manager

Job Summary

To drive strategic oversight and execution of large-scale technical portfolios, the full-time remote Technical Portfolio Manager will manage multiple concurrent initiatives, provide executive-level financial oversight, and mentor project and program managers across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and structuring of complex technical portfolios, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans
• Provide financial oversight, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for portfolio initiatives
• Facilitate cross-organizational collaboration and governance, aligning priorities and managing risks across multiple business units

Required qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management, specifically with large-scale technical portfolios
• Proven expertise in portfolio financial management, including budgeting and forecasting
• Advanced knowledge of portfolio management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PMI, SAFe, Agile/Scrum)
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, business, or management discipline; advanced degree preferred
