Technical Product Manager

Job Summary

To support the OI&T Health Informatics Product Line at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Technical Product Manager will own the Product Roadmap for JLV, focusing on customer alignment, feature prioritization, and business value delivery throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and refine JLV's Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap while ensuring alignment with customer needs
• Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather insights and maintain, prioritize, and refine the Product Backlog
• Present product vision and milestones during PI Planning and ensure activities align with VA policies and strategic goals

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 15 years of experience in IT/software product management, including product strategy and backlog management
• Hands-on experience with Agile/SAFe methods and strong exposure to prioritization and stakeholder communication
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, and familiarity with Jira
• Understanding of VA Healthcare IT products and processes, including exposure to VA/EHR interoperability environments
