Technical Product Manager
Job Summary
To support the engineering initiatives for the Commercial Data Platform and Data Products, the full-time Technical Product Manager will create, plan, and execute software development strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Define requirements and manage development processes for the data platform and tools supporting Commercial and R&D initiatives
- Create and operationalize a comprehensive technical strategy and integrated roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to translate product requirements into actionable tasks and ensure user needs are met through effective collaboration with engineering teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a software development environment, ideally within biotechnology and NGS
- Deep expertise in identifying and prioritizing software features
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex trade-off decisions and improve organizational processes
- Experience in software development efforts meeting regulated market standards (FDA, CAP/CLIA) for diagnostics
