Job Summary
Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time remote Senior/Staff/Principal Technical Product Manager will drive legacy modernization efforts for the U.S. Air Force, managing product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and technical trade-offs while fostering collaboration and skill transfer among government partners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team to build and ship high-impact products and services
- Translate user and government partner needs into a comprehensive product strategy, including roadmap and backlog management
- Manage the direction and scope of modernization efforts, balancing architecture and integration trade-offs with user requirements
Required qualifications
- Understanding of lean product principles and ability to apply them throughout the product life cycle
- Experience in developing product strategies that prioritize outcomes and establish long-term direction
- Ability to break down product scope into manageable chunks and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Technical fluency to discuss architecture and engineering trade-offs with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working on cross-functional teams in iterative delivery environments
